Personalized Medical Screenings for Plant Medicine Experiences
What Will We Talk About
at the Consultation?
Our medical provider will talk with you about your medical and psychiatric diagnoses, your medications and supplements, and your history. They will help you determine your risk profile for experiencing one plant medicine. The provider will also share what you might do to improve your risk profile, if appropriate. They will create a medical risk profile note afterward and share it with you.

What's Included?
* Review of medical screening intake form, research on your medications, diagnoses and/or supplements, and up to 30 minutes of conversation with our board-certified medical provider
* An informational risk evaluation of your medications, diagnoses and/or supplements, along with their potential interactions with one plant medicine / psychedelic, as well as strategies to decrease risks prior to/during use of plant medicine / psychedelic (e.g. which medications or supplements would need to be stopped, and how long beforehand, for safety using the plant medicine)
* Minor questions or clarifications can usually be offered after consultation if necessary, although several new questions or questions unrelated to original consultation content should be covered in a follow-up consult
* It is recommended you discuss any changes in your medications with your prescribing medical provider
What's Not Included?
* Recommendation or endorsement to use illicit psychedelics
* A medical clearance to use plant medicine / psychedelics
* Discussion of more than one plant medicine (each plant medicine requires separate screening consultation)
* Prescription of medications, ordering of tests or provision of medical recommendations (we provide informational suggestions only related to risk status for a particular plant medicine / psychedelic)
* Active medical or psychiatric management (this will be done by your own primary care provider, psychiatrist or other specialist)
* Guarantee of safety or positive outcome in the circumstance you choose to use plant medicine / psychedelics
How Is Information
Kept Secure?
* Medical screening intake information is submitted via an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant Zoho form
* Information is added to a secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoho database (customer relationship management system, or CRM)
* Correspondences are sent from Zoho email system, which is HIPAA-compliant. If your email is also encrypted and/or secure, that would add additional security to information transferred.
* Consultation bookings are made via a HIPAA-compliant Zoho booking system
* Consultations are performed via Zoho Meetings, which is private and HIPAA-compliant
