Detailed discussions regarding physical and psychiatric diagnoses, medical history, medications and supplements
​Written informational risk assessments provided afterward so you and they know their exact risks and how to address them
HIPAA-compliant processes for data storage, data transfer, communication and correspondence
Active communication with retreat center contact(s) for questions and clarifications before and afterward
Include our screenings as part of your retreat services or send guests directly to us and we will take  care of everything

What exactly do we do with/for guests?

Speak with a health professional via email or audio/video call
Payment, intake form, booking, meeting and communication can all done via Safe Plant Journey website
Discuss diagnoses, medications, supplements and medical history and how they impact safety with one plant medicine
Individualized informational assessment delivered afterward
Minor questions or clarifications can usually be offered after consultation if necessary, though several new questions or questions unrelated to original consultation content should be covered in a follow-up consult

What's NOT Included?

Things we can't do (for our own safety)

* Recommendation or endorsement to use illicit psychedelics


* A medical clearance to use plant medicine / psychedelics


* Discussion of more than one plant medicine (each plant medicine requires separate screening)


* Prescription of medications, ordering of tests or giving of medical advice or  recommendations (we provide informational suggestions only related to risk status for a particular plant medicine / psychedelic. 


* Active medical or psychiatric management (done by guest's own primary care provider, psychiatrist or other specialist)


* Guarantee of safety or positive outcome in the circumstance a guest chooses to use plant medicine / psychedelics
