Samantha has been a nurse practitioner since 2009, and leading her team of plant medicine experience medical screeners since 2023. She has spoken with over a thousand individuals interested in experiencing plant medicine and curious about whether they can do so safely. Samantha loves to travel, learn about cultures and languages, and sing. She brings her  adorable tiny human (born in 2023!) wherever she goes. Samantha is a 3rd year medical (MD) student in Miami, Florida, and intends to continue to specialize in psychiatry, psychedelics and plant medicines in her medical education and career.

Theresa has been a family nurse practitioner for since 2016  in a wide variety of clinical environments. She joined Safe Plant Journey in 2024 and has helped hundreds of individuals in their journey toward a safe plant medicine experience. As a newlywed and recent home-upgrader, Theresa is enjoying all the positive changes in her life outside Dayton, Ohio. She is excited for all the future growth plant medicine has for improving mental, emotional and spiritual health.
